Gary serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Vale Counseling. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University.

Gary currently works with adolescents, adults, and couples dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, codependency, and relationship issues. Gary is passionate about offering encouragement and hope to those seeking counseling for healing and personal growth.

Gary practices faith-based counseling integrated with Person-centered therapy built on empathy and acceptance, and Adlerian therapy which addresses how significant past events and relationships influence current beliefs and patterns of thinking. Gary’s style is collaborative and focuses on exploring client needs and goals to bring about change. 

Before joining Vale Counseling, Gary worked as an industrial designer for over 15 years before making a mid-life career change to become a counselor in search of deeper meaning and purpose.
