Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Interdisciplinary studies in Business Admin/Psychology & Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. 

Lisa counsels clients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem struggles and post-traumatic stress. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Adlerian approaches. In the counseling process she guides clients in developing effective coping skills for moving through life’s challenges and difficulties. 

Lisa has counseled clients in abusive relationships/domestic violence providing therapy that administers tools for self-care, assertiveness training, self-esteem building and boundary setting. Together we will work towards a future in obtaining enhanced self-esteem/self-worth and personal growth for a healthier state of being and lifestyle.

In the therapeutic process Lisa creates a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment. She provides everyone a safe and non-judgmental space to process and share their thoughts and emotions. Counseling is a collaborative process, and she builds strong therapeutic relationships through a warm and welcoming environment with genuine interest and respect for her clients. 

Lisa’s passion is helping those in therapy to gain effective coping skills to manage life’s challenges, acquire positive thinking patterns and experience a healthier and purposeful lifestyle.
